Cuba means Revolution..
Museum Of The Revolution is a museum that you should visit necessarily when you go to Cuba. As I always say, you should be sure to have knowledge about the Cuban Revolution before going to Cuba and this museum,. Otherwise you cannot understand Museum Of The Revolution well.
Let’s go inside.
Museum Of The Revolution was the dictator Batista’s palace. After the revolution, it became a museum. Batista had learned that Santa Clara was captured by Che while he was dancing in the grand hall of this museum..
Here is that hall;
Many memorials related to Che and Fidel…
You will see some personal items belonging to Che and Fidel in the Revolutionary Museum, Of course many memories of what happened in the revolutionary period, icons, newspaper clippings, the radio staff which Che created to call Cuban people and stretcher which Che’s dead body held.
You can see Granma yatch outside of the museum. Granma is the yatch that Fidel, Che and other 80 Cuban revolutionary used to go to Cuba from Mexico. Fidel had bought Granma for 80 thousand dollars. (He had taken 100 thousand dollars from the United States) However, due to the storm their arrival to Cuba delayed 2 days. Dictator Batista learned that they have been coming to Cuba, got prepared and shot the Granma yacht. Most of the revolutionaries were dead in Granma. Fortunately Che, Fidel and other some revolutionaries survived and gone to the Sierra Maestra mountains. After some conflicts in the mountains revolutionaries had beaten them. I couldn’t get Granma’s photo because of the glass in front of the yatch.
